It was Yvonne's birthday, so Jeff and I joined her & Gord plus her friends Joanne (pictured above, who is a riot) and Bob for delicious Chinese food in North Van. It was pouring rain so after we got home Jeff and I made a pot of tea and watched The Shawshank Redemption, which I had read but not seen, and man, what a fine piece of cinema.
