It was the day of the Papergirl ride-out, so I followed everyone with my camera as they stuffed their bags & bike baskets with rolls of artwork and handed it out to unsuspecting passers-by along the seawall. Some people were really excited, some were apprehensive, and some flat-out said no. It was great, though. Afterwards Jeff and I had some pizza and a beer at the Yaletown Brew Pub before riding home.

I rode my bike to Mal & Kaylie's and then we went for the by-donation lunch at the temple. Malloreigh left to go play cards and I hung out with Kaylie while she cooked, and then rode home to have dinner with Jeff and watch Being John Malkovich, a thoroughly messed-up movie which I had never seen before.

Alice and Maddie and Steph came over; we ate homemade pizza and watched the hockey game, and then Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Imagine our horror when we discover that the special preview of the first scene from the next movie only exists on the blu-ray disc.

I had one of those nights where every time you are just about to drift off into sleep, your body jerks you awake. I think I finally passed out for real around 4am, and when I woke up I had a massive headache and was super stuffed up. I stayed home from work and Jeff made me breakfast, and I spent the afternoon mending clothes while he went for a bike ride with Ray. On his journeys he picked up some new gear cables for my bike and installed them so that maybe my chain will stop falling off when I go up hills. I guess that's what you get for riding free trash bike.

I have been somewhat worried about the bikes getting too wet during the storms the past few days. Mine is already kind of rusty and I don't want it to get worse D:

This night I went to the Decemberists, which was amazing, but the Vogue people are camera nazis so I left it at home. This is my old bike cuddling the bike Jeff found that he's in the process of fixing up for me.
