A night of beers in Gastown with Iain, Steph, Jesse, and Trevor. Here's Iain in the basement of the Alibi Room. I believe at one point we were having a heated debate about playoff beards.

Wine tour day 2: homemade (well, hotel room-made) breakfast, lying on the grass at Church & State, feeling fancy at Le Vieux Pin, rendezvousing with Mal, Bronwen, and Lindsay for dinner, taking a beer break, being driven inside due to a rainstorm, all of us sharing old high school photos while drinking wine in the hotel room.

28 December 12

After work I met up with Iain and we had a beer and some food at Six Acres (and in doing my portrait I accidentally photographed this stranger at the next table). Afterwards we were going to go to the Alibi Room for another round, but when we got there they were closed for the holidays. Instead we bought beer at the liquor store by my house and drank it while watching Super Troopers and Cannibal! The Musical with Steph.

Iain's last night in town. I made chana masala, we drank wine on the patio with Steph, and watched The Twilight Zone.

Iain was in town and he and his girlfriend Dale came over to drink drinks and eat pizza and play Cards Against Humanity. I wish he didn't live in Kingston.
Also I apparently failed to take a picture on the 30th.

After work I met up with Iain, Steph, Jeff, and Jesse (and briefly J.J.) at the New Oxford pub in Yaletown. We ate some food, we drank some wine & beer, Steph and Iain had some pointless arguments, you know how it goes. Good times.

Joined Iain and some folks for cheap beer and karaoke at the Legion. It disappointed me to see that the wide array of hipsters that has been present most other times I've been seemed to have been replaced by idiot bros and girls barely old enough to drink :( Also Iain was the only one of us who actually got to sing anything. However, we all got to drink $1.60 beer, so I suppose the evening was a success.

It is Iain! He is here for a visit! This is exciting! He got his camera taken away at the Constantines/Weakerthans show because it was 'too professional'. That is lame.
