Ran errands with Jeff and then we drank beer in the backyard with Steph. We made a delicious bbq dinner of marinated ahi tuna & prawns, asparagus, salad, and rice, and once the sun started to set we watched Return of the King.

Wine tour day 2: homemade (well, hotel room-made) breakfast, lying on the grass at Church & State, feeling fancy at Le Vieux Pin, rendezvousing with Mal, Bronwen, and Lindsay for dinner, taking a beer break, being driven inside due to a rainstorm, all of us sharing old high school photos while drinking wine in the hotel room.

04 February 13

I met up with Steph and Jordan at the Butcher & Bollock downtown to watch the game. When Steph told me where they were going to be I was apprehensive because I usually boycott any pub owned by the Donnelly Group, due to them ruining perfectly good places with sub-par service and overpriced, boring food. However this place wasn't too bad — they were doing free tasting pours (12oz) of a new beer on tap, the food was decent, and when the game started they brought round cards for each table with a player's number, and if that player scored the table got a free pitcher. We got lucky with Jannick Hansen and won a pitcher of pale ale... nothing like getting drunk on a Monday.

After work I met up with Iain, Steph, Jeff, and Jesse (and briefly J.J.) at the New Oxford pub in Yaletown. We ate some food, we drank some wine & beer, Steph and Iain had some pointless arguments, you know how it goes. Good times.

26 June 11

Jeff, Jesse, Steph & I tried to go for brunch at Jethro's, but the wait was like an hour so we instead went to Crave on Main Street and sat on their patio. Steph got a mimosa. I got a sunburn.

18 November 10

Went to the midnight Harry Potter showing with Jeff, Steph, and my sisters and their boyfriends. We apparently should have lined up like... two days before, because we got there at 9pm and were still in the front row of the upper level (still a fair bit of neck craning involved, but no pain the next day). We sat on the floor of an overly heated Metrotown while snow fell outside.

23 April 10

This is what I brought Steph home from Mexico. Her reaction was instantaneous laughter, followed by putting the mask on, going, "Why is this a thing I don't understand!"

Steph and I had a date! We went to the Templeton for dinner and then to see Harry Potter (again). We are awesome.
