Another thunderstorm. It was getting intense on my walk home from the bus stop and I was a little afraid of being struck by lightning. Everyone was home so we made a glorious Indian feast for dinner and watched Kung Fu Hustle.

Sarah & I were supposed to go hiking in Belcarra, but because of the rainstorm the night before, we decided that the trail would probably be too soupy to enjoy :( The weather improved later on though, and I hung out in the yard for a bit before Jeff came home from work. We wanted burgers so we drove up to the Mountain Shadow Pub in Burnaby, listening to Night Vale in the car. We came home and watched The Wire for 3 hours.

We hosted a barbecue and it was well-attended, delicious, and sunny. Also Jeff and I got to meet our nephew Tyrion for the first time, as Natalie and Seamus had just returned from Korea! He's so big already — only 3 months old and wearing 9 month baby clothes.
