Liang & Sarah checking out the food cart outside Orofino.
Karly & others at our solstice barbecue at the end of the month.
Sarah hosted a Solstice party (a few days early) at our place. It was a fun time full of booze and food. I don't think any glasses even got broken, which usually happens at our parties.
Suz and MaryAnne at Trout Lake for Jen and MaryAnne's post-wedding barbecue. They are thoroughly enjoying a pinwheel-topped cupcake. And, because I didn't take any photos on the 22nd, you get a bonus photo of Luka! Good old Mr. Face.
We hosted a wine and cheese/chocolate and port party. It was extremely delicious and good times were had. I also liked how most people decided to wear their fancy clothes. Lucas, who did not, felt left out until he borrowed some fancy clothes from Jeff!
Sleepover with Tams, Val, and Steph... Tamara made us watch Twilight, and Tremaine created this lovely title menu. I wish I could have video recorded it, because what you can't see in the photo is that Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is playing.
After Malloreigh's birthday dinner at the Eatery, we were playing around and drinking Fireball at a nearby school where we found this dead crow :( We decided he shouldn't be on a playground, so we scooped him up and put him in a household trash can (the next day was garbage day so we didn't feel too bad). I hope no raccoons got him.
Alice's 20th birthday in the Ridge. I kept taking photos in the smoking room because the lighting in there made everything look amazing. This is Nick, proving that smoking makes you look 40% cooler.
The 26th marks the first day I forgot to take a photo since January 10th when I started this biz. So I am posting two from the 27th. these kids showed up to the Enchanted House in a school bus. I forget their names. After Lucy's bachelorette dinner, the rainstorm had mostly passed and there was a rainbow! Banks are soooo gay.
I spent the long weekend with new friends and old friends in the BC interior, drinking and eating and smoking pot and playing guitar and cooking things on the bonfire. So relaxing and wonderful, even if I did get a sunburn and like 12 mosquito bites.
While I did not take this photo, it was taken with my camera and I couldn't resist. I did in fact take photos on this day, but this one contains about 175195 million times more awesome.
I spent all afternoon studying chemistry and then went to Val and Tams' birthday at Ukrainian Village Restaurant. Beer, perogies, and borscht were had. My camera does not like things to be backlit.
This morning the old roommates and I, along with some friends, went to Stella's on Commercial Drive for brunch to celebrate a new year of being free of our terrible old landlord. Breakfast beer is pretty great, especially if it's raspberry flavoured. I also had breakfast steak.
