Evening was spent sweating in the living room, drinking wine and beer and having DEEP CONVERSATIONS. Unfortunately beer + heat = fuzz. Not unlike the fuzz on Michelle's head :)
My only excursions outside today were to take out the recycling, and to re-pot my basil and the other little plant that was growing in the same pot. Hopefully I didn't destroy some symbiotic relationship or anything.
There was a thunderstorm yesterday and I sat out on the back steps with the camera, enjoying the smell and the sound of the rain on the overhang. This crow appeared and just as I was taking his picture he spat something out of his mouth. Gross.
This night I went to the Decemberists, which was amazing, but the Vogue people are camera nazis so I left it at home. This is my old bike cuddling the bike Jeff found that he's in the process of fixing up for me.
I took a different photo this night that is I suppose nicer, but this one is too ridiculous to not post. At Anton's Pasta Bar for a work function of Jeff's; he got sauce on his face after one bite so I told him he needed a bib. But then he removed it and, as suspected, got sauce on his shirt.
On Tuesday I failed at taking a picture not because I forgot, but because I took the camera out with me and the BATTERY WAS DEAD >:( After dinner I walked around the neighbourhood with the boys.
On the way back from the states on Sunday (after I spent too much money at Victoria's Secret), we stopped at my mom and Jimm's for dinner. Delicious brownies were consumed.
Once again, I failed at taking a photo. So you get two from this day. We went to Jeff's family barbecue in Ferndale, WA. The backyard was really nice but I got mosquito bites like whoa. This is Jeff's uncle Dave, who is an amazing scotch-drinking biker.
Alice's 20th birthday in the Ridge. I kept taking photos in the smoking room because the lighting in there made everything look amazing. This is Nick, proving that smoking makes you look 40% cooler.
Joel, wearing an amazing shirt outside Richard's on Richards before Sunset Rubdown. Every time I use my Canon now I dream up new and creative ways of destroying it.
